1. Cultural anthropology

"The study of contemporary and recent historical cultures all over the world. The focus is on social organization, culture change, economic and political systems, and religion. Cultural anthropology is also referred to as social or sociocultural anthropology."

I think that Ethnography is a great and accurate example of what cultural anthropology is. In short, the
study of other cultures. Cultural anthropology can consist of research on another culture from afar or
actually going to observe and experience the other culture - both fall somewhat under the category of 
ethnography.

2. Adaptive mechanism


a behavior, strategy, or technique for obtaining food and surviving in a particular environment.  Successful adaptive mechanisms provide a selective advantage in the competition for survival with other life forms.  For humans, the most important adaptive mechanism is culture.


Some other forms of an adaptive mechanism are camouflage and speed. Animals like cheetahs use camouflage to sneak up on prey, and then run very fast to chase it down.

A comment often thrown around is how much easier life was in medieval times. What sparked this specific article was a tweet made by a woman named Azie Dungey she said, “We give a lot more labor to increase someone else’s wealth than in times past. John D Rockefeller - Eli

John Davison Rockefeller was born on July 8, 1839, in Richford, New York. And In 1864, Rockefeller married Laura Celestia. Laura Celestia was an Ohio native and had a very successful father. Her father was active in helping the underground railroad and was an abolitionist. together Rockefeller and Celestia went on to have five children, 4 of them girls and one boy. however one of the girls, Alice Rockefeller died when she was only 13 months old. Later, In 1865 Rockefeller took out a loan to buy out his partner's oil refineries.
